cracked up to be? Is it worth the effort?

As
business women we tend to focus on growing our
businesses and often neglect the one thing that
makes us unique - the connections and bonds we have
with our girlfriends.
The vision of
The Twisted Sisterhood is to inspire women to
reclaim those connections. It's vital to allow
space for new friendships and maintaining those we
have developed over the years (but may be
neglecting.)
Women network while having fun, and we have fun
while we are networking! The Twisted Sisterhood
encourages both, and in this salon we'll talk about
the perfect marriage of both ideas.
Join me on December 18 at 6 pm EST as I interview two
of the six original Twisted Sisters. The topic will be
friendship and fun and why it's vital for you (and your
business) to nurture both.
And if you think you'll be too busy with holiday
preparations - register anyhow! I'll send you the link
for the recorded webcast so you can listen in later.
Started in 17th century
France at
a time when society was defined and regulated by men, women exerted a powerful
influence as "salonnières." A salon was different
from the Royal Court because of its lack of social hierarchy and the mixing of
different ranks and orders. Salons encouraged the exchange of news and
ideas, helping to break down social barriers and served as a major channel of
communication. The
salon was really an informal university for women in which women were able to
exchange ideas and hear the works and ideas of others.
Today's "Success Salon"
webcasts
are held monthly, usually on the last Thursday of the
month. The call itself is free if you listen
via the web. If you use the conference line, your
normal long distance charges will apply.
Each webcast is a live
interview and includes plenty of time for you to get
your questions answered.
Before the webcast - You'll
receive an email with joining instructions, including a
link to the webcast page and your password. Sign on
early and post any questions you have before the actual
webcast. This will help the Expert tailor her content
for you!
If you can't make the live
Salon, each webcast is recorded so that you can
listen at your convenience. Simply go to the link you
received for the live call and enter the password. Of
course you won't be able to submit questions for the
speaker but you can still benefit from all the great
information they will be sharing!
